The Big Island of Hawaii has an amazing variety of landscapes and microclimates. Of the 14 climatic zones in the world, the Big Island has 10 of them, plus the tallest mountains in the world, if you measure from their bases in the ocean. Where else can you snow ski and snorkel on the same day?
