It’s the Hawaii 3-day Women's Photography Retreat (plus optional added modules)and it’s coming up soon! If you’re a woman photographer who wants to:

• Explore your creativity

• Learn new techniques

• Photograph breathtakingly gorgeous and culturally significant places on the Big Island

…then you are invited to join a small and very supportive group of like-minded, creative women who love to photograph new environments and make new visual discoveries.

I designed this retreat based on what I would personally love to attend, full of adventure, relaxation and learning—all in one of the most unique and picturesque places on earth.

The Big Island of Hawaii is a photographer’s dream, filled with so many amazing photographic opportunities—from an active volcano to spectacular coastlines, rain forests, botanical gardens, Hawaiian temples, a model shoot and more. Every day you will encounter natural beauty to capture with your lens.

The format is fully customized so it’s based on what YOU want to learn so you can take bold new leaps in your own creative journey.

Each day you will receive:

• An unforgettable photo shoot at a stunning island location

• Full customized instruction on photographic and Photoshop techniques

• Open studio time to work on your own images

• My personal assistance to make sure you are making the most of your experience

These Retreats are limited to just six women, so that I can give each one of you the attention and support you’re looking for.

This means that it will fill quickly.

Tropical Hideaway offers a beautiful private setting for our retreat. The lovely grounds and gardens include two hot tubs, a pool with waterfall, and wonderful places for creating photographs. Additional photographs can be found at www.tropicalhideawayhawaii.com/house.html.

Tropical Hideaway is five minutes away from spectacular Honaunau Bay and the beautiful and sacred "Place of Refuge" National Park.

Snorkeling, kayaking, diving and dolphin experiences are available at Honaunau Bay (Two Step), and in nearby Kealakekua & Ho'okena Bays, in case you want to come early or stay a few days longer.

Lodging is available at Tropical Hideaway with advance reservations, and at Island Getaway, also located on the property. Massage sessions are also available (additional charge).

The retreat begins on Friday morning, and ends on Sunday afternoon.  The accommodation is shared with two women in each apartment or room, with each participant having their own bed. Note: Upstairs bedroom has two twin beds instead of queen bed pictured below. If you want your own room, you may need to provide your own accommodation (a list of nearby vacation rentals can be sent).
