I offer basic photography and composition, digital infrared photography and Photoshop workshops in Hawaii and wherever else that I teach. I have been teaching Beginning Photoshop for Photographers since 2004, and will continue to teach this course online through www.BetterPhoto.com. In addition to the workshops I teach, private sessions are available in my studio. We can create a custom format so that you can choose exactly what you want to learn-- basic photography, using digital cameras, Photoshop, digital infrared, Fuji transfers, handcoloring,etc. Sharing a private session is also possible.

New Whale Journey Film & DVD
I have almost finished a 28 minute DVD about humpback whales, to be available in 2013. Whale Journey is an experiential and poetic film about humpback whales, with stunning underwater footage from Tonga, including whales initiating contact with people. It sheds light on who these magnificent beings are--their vast intelligence, and their importance in the planet’s ecosystem. It contains informative quotes from scientists about the whales, interspersed with video footage and slides, plus a memorable sound track of originally composed music.
